Augmented Reality embarks you on an immersive trip through 850 years of the history of Notre-Dame Paris. HistoPad in hand, you pass through the time portal to relive the cathedral’s extraordinary saga, from its Middle Age builders to the current restoration building site.
This new concept of interactive exhibition, designed by Histovery in collaboration with the Rebâtir Notre-Dame public establishment, thanks to the sponsorship of the L’Oréal group, combines physical settings and augmented reality. Through the HistoPad tablet, you will scan and open the Time Portals to embark on a journey through space and time.
Discover the lost past of Notre-Dame, through spectacular 360° 3D reconstructions of the cathedral. Relive the construction of the cathedral in the 12th century, the arrival of the Holy Crown, the imperial coronation of Napoleon in 1804 and discover the genius of the architect Viollet-le-Duc in the 19th with the chimeras and the mythical arrow consumed in the fire of April 15, 2019.
Meet today’s builders, thanks to 3D modeling and immersive experiences at the heart of the construction site, to better understand the centuries-old trades and know-how of those who work on the building restoration.
