Three facets of romanticism : the eruptive France of Berlioz, the nostalgic Russia of Tchaikovsky and the incandescent Germany of Schumann.

 

Conductor Kristiina Poska makes her début with the Orchestre Français des Jeunes in a programme simmering with energy, ranging from the jubilation of Benvenuto Cellini to the power of the Rhine celebrated by Schumann in his Symphony No. 3. Alongside the great pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja, a true legend of the piano, Kristiina Poska accompanies and guides a generation of young musicians with a passion for orchestra through these three masterpieces.
