Practical information

Groups may wander freely around the grounds and in the temporary and permanent exhibitions using the Histopad tablet, or they can be accompanied by a tour guide, choosing a theme for their visit. Privatised lunches and tours can also be organised.

Guided tours

Several guided tours are possible: discovery of the Saline royale, the history of salt, the works of Claude Nicolas Ledoux, the gardens, etc.

Self-guided tours

Groups can also choose to visit the Saline royale, its 13-hectare grounds, gardens and exhibitions at their own pace. A variety of tools are available to accompany them on this self-guided tour.

Lunch and tour

Between two tours, enjoy lunch in the 18th-century setting of the Saline royale for a food and wine experience focusing on products from Jura.
