Major figure of the African continent and of reggae, winner of several gold records and Victoires de la Musique awards, Tiken Jah Fakoly today stands as a leading and internationally acclaimed artist.

Gathering hundreds of thousands of spectators at his concerts in Africa, he is famous for his explosive live performances and has played at all the major festivals in France, Europe, and Canada.

Originally from Côte d’Ivoire, he is the true standard-bearer of an African youth whose thirst for freedom and change he proudly carries. In 2024, Tiken Jah Fakoly returns with a new album and an unprecedented acoustic tour. Surrounded by traditional West African musicians, the artist revisits 25 years of repertoire, including his greatest hits such as Plus rien ne m’étonne, Tonton d’America, and Quitte le pouvoir.

The tireless Franco-American duo is back with their second album Louverture, a concept album inspired by the struggle of Haitian general Toussaint Louverture. For almost 10 years, rapper Napoleon Maddox has been delivering his sharp flow over the productions of beatmaker Sorg.

 

Their first track, Wild West (2013), was recently featured by Netflix in the French series Braqueurs. Their discography includes several EPs, a first album Checkin Us (2018), and numerous collaborations with renowned artists such as Gaël Faye, Hamid Drake, Marc Cary, Dobet Gnahoré, Cheick Tidiane Seck, and more.
