Since June 2022, the Saline royale has been reinventing itself around the Vast Circle project: the unique evolution of a UNESCO site into an island of biodiversity that positions the Saline royale as a planetary garden school combining experimentation, the circular economy, education and high environmental quality, with 13 hectares and 30 gardens to visit.
This year, pursuing this approach of innovation and experimentation, the Saline royale is building a geodesic greenhouse in the second semi-circle to produce its own fruit and vegetable plants and thus encourage a short circuit while promoting healthy and sustainable food.
